12/28/2004 10:28:00 AM|W|P|RAJESH SEGU|W|P|Dec 25th, 2004: At this young age, we always get moved by the words Friend and Love. The simple word Friend lingers joy within us. "Friend" simply wispers "I am there for u, good or bad." Friends and Friendship has a very major impact in everyones life, they almost act as a catalyst. With all these feelings, "Meeting our old freinds" would make us more exiting. When u think of an old freind, u recall all the moments u have enjoyed with him, scolded him, monkeyed with him, fought with him, ..............................! So, with all exitement, we planned our College GetTogather. We really dont know how things are going to be after few years and we have no idea whether time would permit us. To make GetTogather an habit, we planned one at Bangalore. It was November, when this cool idea of 'GetTogather' got into our minds and hearts. We had long discussion abt how many were to be present and where we would meet. Many few of our friends replied, but most of them had replies like "I am sorry". Very disappointed as only about 15 of us were interested. The other fact was that many of our friends were searching jobs and we most of the enthu guys were with jobs. That was the crusial part for our get togather, so we left the decision to our classmates, didn't want to force them. On the day Dec 23rd, still many were ambiguious about their presence, as it was Christmas holidays for all the companies around. Finally I needed to make a decision about my presence, and I said "Letz start the habit of get togather". Then I went to book my ticket for 24thDec, added to my decision I never got a ticket both in private as well as govt. run buses[I just forgot it was the start of Christmas holidays]. Finally somehow on 25thDec morning I reached Bangalore after a great struggle. I gotdown from the bus and called my friend "Sai Ram", working in Tavant Technologies. He came to receive me and I was very happy to meet him after a long span. We went to his room where my other friend "Praneeth" doing his MS in IITD was almost ready. I went in race with them and we almost were ready to leave by 10:30am[the scheduled time was 10am]. So praneeth and myself wen to the LalBagh MainGate in an auto. The autowala, was too intelligent that he left us at the LalBagh West Gate, as we both were new to that, we never knew the difference b/w maingate and westgate. We thought we were the first to arrive and we tried calling others, but everyone said we were already present there. We were taken by surprise listening to them, but after confirming we were really annoyed. But in another 15min we reached the maingate. We could see our friends Sairam, naresh, murali, santosh, bindu, shahin and vijetha. This made us only 10 people[round], this actually dissapointed me. I was a bit depressed but I thought we were there to enjoy and only to enjoy. So, I just took over some discussions, and I found only some were really interested in that. All the boys formed a different group and girls were alone. We never planned anything. As lonely as a cloud, I was with all my friends, following them. We just went for a walk in lalbagh, nothing impressive as everybody had seen that. The we sat planning what next. Then we planned for a film after lunch. We went to sangeetha restaurant[if i am not wrong], waited for a seat for about 15min and then ate our stomach's out. Then meanwhile we had 1hr for the film to start. Nearby we had one of our friend "Triveni" in her office, just planned to surprise her and we did it. There we were nearly for 40min chitchatting. We got a call from other friends, that the film was about to start. We just entered the theatre to know the film was "Anand", never had an idea abt the film but atlast found to be a very interesting film. It was superb, a class act by new performers. The next version of K.Vishwanath films is ready to screen. Then we started back to our native place. The time i reached my native it was around 1am. With all memories good and bad just went to sleep to have another good day with my School class mates. This is only a running commentry of what actually happened, but there was more to put in. |W|P|110421098227610169|W|P|NBKR Get Togather!|W|P|rajesh.segu@gmail.com12/11/2004 01:45:00 PM|W|P|RAJESH SEGU|W|P|Hai Friends! I hope all of us know how memorable it would be to enjoy the day with all our nearest and dearest. We generally enjoy with our friends but forget to enjoy with our family. We had the same thought, so all my cousin's at Chennai planned to go to MGM, Chennai the best amusement park available. Everybody were almost my age and one newly married couple [ He is elder cousin, just got married. It was his occasion we went]. We were altogether around 12 members, but we were missing 3 others [one in US, another in UK and one was very busy with his work]. The thought that we were going itself filled us with more and more delight. We started that Sunday morning at 9am, in a Maruthi Omni Van and a Maruthi 800 car. We surely had enough place. Since there was a couple in there, we pre-planned and adjusted ourselves in the Omni Van and left the car behind for them. They really didn't understand and called us, but they i could feel they internally never wanted anyone with them. Privacy is the their world. Really a cool feeling i thought. Felt sad that i should wait another 4years for this.......! We reached MGM by 10am finished all the formalities of buying tickets and arranging our baggage. My cousin Archana, was our guide as she had been here before a month with their friends. At the first site, i could remember a GaintWheel, but none were really interested in it. From there we could see a marrigoaround, the only difference was that we need to sit in baskets tied to the motor. Everybody's eyes litup and we just went on. It was something we had to take photos. That ride was cool. Next we came across a spider, really a spider like thing. Everybody said it was a childsplay, but it was for free[everybody proved we were Indians here] ride. After returning back, two of us vomited, mind u, it really turned the whole out of us. We took rest for about 5min and carried on. Next we went for some usual games. The biggest thing was the Ranger, dare before u really step into that. That really took the heart out of me. I really was warned by my cousin, but never took that serious. It was just like Marry Columbus, but it stands up side down for about a minute at a height of 100 storied building. It circles around itself and even oscillates. I thought, thank god, i took a photo before climbing into this monster. But after we finished the ride, for the first time in life i thought i have done something really great to say. Hey don't forget i really put my life in line[ That was my feeling]. We enjoyed the dashing cars so much that we even repeated the ride twice. Everybody seemed to be TomCruice in MissionImpossible 2. We had many stills taken. Boating as usual was the same old story of racing and dashing. Between all these we went to a restaurant, suggested by our guide [ i introduced right ]. We ordered lots of nonvegetarian. The taste was ok and the quality was just normal. Anyway we need to eat. The joke there was, there was not AC but AC prices, asked the barer about this, he said the AC's were in the main branch. Hey we had lots and lots of photos. Enjoyed a lot. After this all of us decided that everytime we need to practice this art of get together every 6months or early. After seeing the photos, i was taken by surprise to see myself. U know really i looked like a hero. [ i was just thinking aloud ]. Most of us really forget enjoying with our family. My first one this season is "IF TOMMOROW COMES" by Sydney Shalon. This is one of the best classics of the author. As usual Sydney is more creative in his script and in characterizing the Heroine. Sydney, has the best taste around in picking the right characters. The Main Characters of this very interesting Novel: Hero: First seems to be Charles [a Prince, who is born with a silver spoon ] Actually its Jeff Steavans [ a classic smart royal thief, a con magician intially] Heroine: Tracy Witney [ a beautiful lady with smart wit and passion ] Script: In the opening of this Novel, Tracy's mother calls Tracy and then commit's sucide. Meanwhile Tracy a bank emplyee is in love with Charles III. On hearing her mothers death, she starts for her native place on a fly having no time to inform Charles. Tracy learns how her mother was betrayed in her business. She plans a revenge on the culprits. Poor Tracy, she becomes the victim of their game. As a result she is put into womens prison. The prison seems to be the most deadly place on earth for Tracy, and felt pain in her initial prison days. She was very smart to learn to be stubborn and have a strong will. The Jailer of the prison, went though Tracy's case and soon he finds that she is only a victim but had not power to turn against the royal culprits. He alots her as the maid for his son, where she always planned to escape to take revenge. One fine day she plans but finds that the son of the jailer is in trouble at the last minuite. She made up her mind, and saved the jailer's son taking risk. As a result she is awarded freedom. She soon started searching for jobs, but sent back everywhere for her criminal background. Soon she turned into a sharp theif. The Interpol even admit that they have never seen a international theif so intelligent. Between she meets Jeff Steavans, who always competes with her in stealing valuable things. They start with hatred, as usual fall in love wiht each other. Finally stealing the biggest diamond on earth they plan for marriage and retiring from their professions. They get into a plane to fly off, but surprising finds the most richest man beside Tracy. They start thinking their next move............................ The END. [ I complete the book in around 10days, taking the working days [ read only 2hrs ] ] I know i am poor at writing english, but this is only a step to improve myself.
